Award-winning saddle-maker and leather artisan based in Silver City, NM.

I’m Carson Billings, saddler, leather craftsman, and cattle rancher here near Silver City. Being around horses and the western lifestyle, I always have had an appreciation for high quality craftsmanship and handmade tack. This led to me starting my leatherwork journey at just 10 years old.

In early 2024 I pursued learning the saddle-making trade, taking on a full time job in a shop in La Sal, UT. After 18 months working in there, my wife, 2 children and I came back to Silver City. I started my own saddlery and continued my time as a 7th generation rancher on the family place.

I currently spend my time building saddles, managing the cattle ranch, starting young horses and enjoying the western life.
